MEMBERSHIP
1.1 | Membership in the Association shall consist of three categories: | |
1.1.1 | Full member – Current fees of $20 effective Aug 1 to July 31. | |
1.1.2 | Junior member – Current fee of $10 effective Aug 1 to July 31 | |
1.1.3 | Group member – Current Fee is $20 but is under review for next year. All clubs must submit a form with the demographics of their members. | |

1.2 | FULL MEMBER: 18 years and over as of January first. | |
1.2.1 | is eligible to represent Nova Scotia providing that he/she complies with appropriate eligibility rules. | |
1.2.2 | is able to enter Open and Closed tournaments in Nova Scotia. | |
1.2.3 | is able to enter National Closed tournaments providing that he/she complies with appropriate eligibility rules. | |
1.2.4 | is able to hold office in the Association. | |
1.2.5 | is able to vote in Association matters. |
1.3 | JUNIOR MEMBER: under 18 as of January first | |
1.3.1 | is eligible to represent Nova Scotia providing that he/she complies with appropriate eligibility rules. | |
1.3.2 | is able to enter Open and Closed tournaments in Nova Scotia. | |
1.3.3 | is able to enter National Closed tournaments providing that he/she complies with appropriate eligibility rules. | |
1.3.4 | is ineligible to vote in Association matters. | |
1.3.5 | is ineligible to hold office in the Association. |
1.4 | GROUP MEMBER: This is a type of membership for clubs who want to be affiliated with NSTTA for the purpose of acquiring support, receiving communications on table tennis, insuring the club members for liability and promoting table tennis to its members.
The club must have a minimum of 5 members. |

1.4.1 | is able to enter Regional tournaments without paying the “pass” fee. | |
1.4.2 | is ineligible to represent the province. | |
1.4.3 | is ineligible to vote in Association matters. | |
1.44 | is ineligible to hold office in the Association |
