Table Tennis is one of the true multicultural sports in the Province and across Canada.  This activity brings local players together to compete in a friendly competition where bonds of appreciation are nurtured and developed through sport.  The rural community of Middle Musquodoboit was host to the Annual Doctors Nova Scotia Table Tennis Provincials. Players from diverse backgrounds such as Kenya,Britain, Pakistan, India, China, Taiwan,Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, Russia, Belarus, St. Lucia, Vietnam and China joined players from across Nova Scotia in a common activity. More than 55 players from around the Province competed for awards and titles in a variety of events and categories.

Most notably is Dipan Shah of Halifax who walked away with the most coveted title of Doctors NS Provincial Champion.  He also captured gold in Veterans 40, Open Doubles (partner Shun Tian Wang), 2800 doubles (partner Ahmed Elkar)

The women’s crown went to Wei AI who defeated Dawn Charles in the open singles.
